| Seen: US dubbed release Compared with: HK VCD, no subtitles 102.09minutes Notes: I can't tell you any dialogue differences since my VCD wasn't subbed. * At the beginning in the bar, Mars and Taipo (I think that is his name) stand atop a table. I believe that they are making fun of the cops. * There is a small fight as a result. Some scenes that were cut from the following big fight: * The police throw a bunch of chairs and tables at the sailors, causing them to run for cover. * A sailor gets a plate of spaghetti thrown into his face, so he wants to get back at him with his own plate of spaghetti, but he gets pushed and the plate gets shoved onto a girl's face! Picture * Later, the same sailor tries to get the policeman again. He calls out the guys number and he stands up, knocking the plate into the sailor's face! Poor guy! (Thankx to Monique for the translation!) * A game of mah jong is being played. Samo joins a game and cashes in his watch (this is the first scene in the movie with Samo). A fight breaks out at another table and interrups his game. Picture * During training to be cops, a bugel wakes them all up very early in the morning and they all go outside. Yuen Biao tells them that they had so much soup the night before that they will have to use the toilets. Jackie looks at him, surprised. He says "Left turn," then looks ar Biao. "Stand by. Into attack. Forward!" and they all go running off. (Thankx again to Monique for translation) * They all have 10 seconds to shower, Biao counts the seconds as they all hurry. When he reaches 10, they all run out, naked except for the water cup in front of them, and covered in soap. Biao goes to shower, taking his time because he has a whole 45 seconds to shower! He looks around for a water cup, then asks for one,, but the officers don't move. Then he orders them to give him one and they throw their water cups at him! (Hilarious!) Picture (I just had to add one!) (Thankx to Monique for translation) * When the grenades are switched on Biao, everyone takes several giant paces back, except for Jackie, who doesn't notice. Biao addresses him and he realizes he is standing forwards and races back to the others. Picture * Scene where Samo avoids Jackie? Not sure. * Scene after Jackie and Samo hide the guns, Jackie stands up from a tub of water, minus shirt but with pants. Picture He puts on the shirt and, hiding, listens to Samo's negotiations. * A few extra seconds here and there during the fight with Jackie and Samo against the men who are after the guns. * Also a few extra scenes during the final fight with the pirates. Outtakes: The versions of Project A I have seen had no outtakes, so I will list some of them. * A mess-up when Jackie jumps over the ladder while on the bike. * When he jumbed over a chair sliding down the bar. He miss-judges and falls on it. (Very painful looking!) * The clock tower fall that went wrong. (Even more painful looking!) |
