| Seen: HK Subbed VCD Compared with: US Dubbed release Note: Since I saw the HK version first, I know I may be missing a few things. Note2: I hate the US version so I only watched it once to catch any deleted scenes. Dialogue *All the Anthrax II mentions were changed to opium for the US release. Scenes *During the scenes where Jackie demos the exercise euipment, there are a few extra seconds with the exercise ball. Pic *There are armed officers Pic *As Jackie eats luck at the mall, he notices several things: A guy watching the officers Pic. A guy with a symbol in cloth Pic, then the symbol for the bank Pic *All those add up and he recognizes that it is a robbery Pic. He tries to tell someone but they say it is a false alarm. *A man says he'll help with the robbers (can be seen in outtakes) Pic *In the elevator, all 3 guys are trying to get the gun off the floor. The lady moves it away from all three of them. Pic Pic The lady cuts Jackie's tie that one of the men is holding on to Pic *Jackie talks to a friend over the internet Pic He tells her about the dream he had of his parents. *Before Jackie talks to Mr. park, he looks out the window Pic He sees a girl Pic Jackie doesn't talk to his "father" until after he talks to the reporter. *I can't remember the dialogue between Jackie and park in the Us version, but in the HK version--Jackie asks him what the men wanted. Park: What can they get from a dying man? Jackie: You mean a dying spy? Park: How about a game of hide and seek with me? Jackie: Now? park: Soon. I'll never live to see ym son again. Jackie: Don't give up. Park: We'll play a game, like father and son. If you win, you will get all the money I have put away for my real son. Jackie: If I lose? Park: You will still have fun. Then it cuts to the funeral of Park. *They talk a little about Park's wife on the way to her grave. *At the site, Jackie opens up the container holding some of Park's askes and lets the wind scatter them. US version made it look like Jackie just dumped them on the ground. Pic Pic Pic She watches the ashes blow away Pic *Yong watches a dance with her boss Pic Pic. Some pictures from this scene that do appear were moved around a little. *Some scenes are missing where Jackie follows Yong. *I believe the reason why Jackie seemed nervous talking to Yong was that she was speaking in Mandarin. *At the beginning of the Turkish Bath scene, the guys with knives are speaking in English "Where's the thing?" Pic *They kept the Market scene!! But I don't remember hearing laughing from the people in the market in the HK version. *Chanting and crying from the mourning Turks Pic While Jackie is tied up in room, one of the guys comes in and asks Jackie if he knows why she is crying? He also says that she is crying because all her sons were killed by Jackie and his friends. Then he asks where the thing is again. Jackie gets hit a couple extra times. |
