Setting- Shows Jack at the phone. He is dialing Tobey's number when-Tobey- Hello?
Jack: Uh.... Tobey?
Tobey: Jack! Hey I was wondering when you were going tocall.
Jack: Yeah sorry. I'm a little late when it comes to things like this.{sheepishly}I never know the right time to call.
Tobey: It's ok. You actually caught me at a good time. I'm fixing togo out to get some coffee you want to come with?
Jack: {with a big smile} Yeah that sounds awesome. Where do youwant to meet?
Tobey: How about the park bench by the elementary school? Is that ok?
Jack: Great I'll meet you there in about twenty minutes?
Tobey: Cool, bye Jack, see you soon.
Jack: Bye Tobey.
Jack turned off the phone and sighed and lay on his bed.Jen walks in to his room.
Jen: Hey Jackers. Do you want to do something later.
Jack: Can't I have a date.
Jen: Jack! Details!
Jack: Its with Tobey. I called him and he asked me out to coffee.
Jen: Oh my gosh this is so exciting.
Jack: You're telling me. Now get out I have to get ready and Ionly have twenty minutes
Jen: Ok I'll go but only if you promise me that when you get home you tellmeevery detail I mean the little juicy morsels.
Jack: What ever just hurry and get out.
Jen leaves and shuts the door. Jack gets dressed in a white cottonshirt and jeans with a light blue sweater. He gives himself a once over inthe mirror and heads out to the park. Once he gets there he meets up withTobey.
Tobey: Jack hey! You look great.
Jack: Thanks you look great too.
Tobey was wearing khakis and dark blue long sleeved shirt.
Tobey: Ah adoration from my fans.
Jack: Yeah you wish!
Tobey: Ha maybe we should get going.
Jack: Ok so how far way is this place?
Tobey: From here, not to far.
Jack: Oh cool.
Tobey: Were almost there.
Jack: Awesome.
Jack and Tobey enter the coffee house and sit in a booth.
Jack: So.... whats new with you?
Tobey: Ahh lets see.
Jack: What, you don't know?
Tobey: Gosh give me some time!
Jack: Sorry { putting his hands up in mock surrender}.
Tobey: Its ok. Nothing is really new. College is well.... college. Youknow how it is. { smiles }
Jack: Don't I. Its freaking torture.
They continue to talk for what seems like hours going through endless amounts of coffee when........
Tobey: Maybe we should get going. Do you wanna take a walk around the park before you go home?
Jack: I'd love to.
Tobey: Well lets go then.They get up grab their coats and head out the door.
Jack: So...."God we talked about everything tonight. Why can't I justgo for the freakin kill!" Jack thought to himself. He obviously had beenthinking about this for awhile.
Tobey: Jack it's ok we don't have to talk anymore if you like.We can just walk.
Jack: Yeah lets do that {smiles} I think I ran out of thingsto talk about.
Tobey: Yeah..... Jack you are a great guy. And I like you. I just don'twant us to go into anything if there is going to be heartache and pain.Thats not my style.
Jack: Tobey if there were something between us I would do whatever Icould to make sure you didn't feel any of that.
Tobey: {sincerely} Really?
Jack: {whispers} Really.
Their breathing quickens and Jack leans over and gives Tobey a soft and sweet kiss.
Tobey: Wow.
Jack: Wow.
Tobey: So are you gonna call me tomorrow?
Jack: Definitely.
Tobey: {smiling} Good.
They continue to walk but in silence until they reach Jack's house.
Jack: Well Tobey I had a great time.
Tobey: Ya it has.Jack: Well...... good night Tobey.
Jack leans in and gives Tobey one more kiss but shorter and goes inside.
Tobey: {whispers} Good night.
Jack goes upstairs and starts for his room but remembers Jen. He walks to her room and opens the door. She is reading Cosmo and...
Jen: Finally!! How did it go? What happened? Tell me everything!
Jack: {laughs than smiles} It started when......
