Author's Note: This is my first fic so I hope you like it! Just some pointers! The prom
thing never happened. Jack and Tobey have never met and they are all in
college.
Setting-Jack is by Jen's bed almost forcing her to get up.
Jack: Come on Jen get up I'm bored, single, and want to do something!
Jen: Jackers just leave me alone and let me sleep. Im tired. God what time
is it?
Jack: Eleven thirty. Isn't that your wake up call anyway?
Jen: Fine fine you win but what is the rush may I ask?
Jack: We're going to the mall, now get moving!
Jen: {walking off and shaking her head} Men!
Jack: { standing there and shaking his head} Women!
We see Jack and Jen walking down the mall when they walk into a music store and have been looking around for awhile when-
Employee- { to Jack} Hey I'm Tobey. Um I was just wondering if you needed help. Im good at since I work here. {giggles} so do you?
Jack:{in a little rude of a tone.} We really dont need help we're just browsing. But we'll ask if we do. {sort of half smiles}
Jen: {glares at Jack} But thanks anyway Tobey.
Tobey: No problem just if you do need my help I'm right over there.{Smiles
at Jack}
Jack: Great.
and with that he walks off.
Jen: And you complain about being single!
Jack: What?!?!
Jen: Oh come on Jack that guy was totally flirting with you and you basicly turned the other cheek.
Jack: How do you know he was flirting with me? I mean he only asked a
simple question.
Jen: My god Jack you are so dense sometimes! You really need to get your
self a "gaydar".
Jack: Would it make you feel better if I go apoligize?
Jen: Thats one thing. The other thing is when you get back here you will
have his number!
Jack: Jen! I can't just go up to a guy and do that. It's it's it's......just not
right.
Jen: Oh come on Jack everyone does it. Do it or else I'm leaving without
you.
Jack : Fine, fine I'll go.
As Jen is smirking Jack goes over to Tobey.
Tobey: Hey! So it looks like you needed my help after all.
Jack: Actually I wanted to apologize for being rude earliar. It was nice of
you to offer your help
We see Tobey's reaction he is touched.
Tobey: Wow um thankyou.
Jack: So do you have a phone or is you family from the Amish country?
Tobey: {smiles} It depends on your reason.
Jack: I thought I could call you sometime.
Tobey: Than yes I have a phone.
He jots down his work and home number and gives it to Jack.
Jack: Thanks I'll talk to you later.
Tobey: Yeah ok.
Jack leaves Tobey and goes to Jen outside.
Jen: Oh my gosh you actually have his number go Jack!
Jack: {smiles} Thanks Jen.
Jen: No problem. How do you feel?
Jack: Like I just took a walk in the clouds.
Jen smiles and they turn to go back home.
