WHAT IS A SNOWSHARK?
-
A snowshark is a beast like its relative the ocean shark. The major difference is that the snowshark lives not on land, but in the snow.
-
WHERE DO THEY LIVE?
-
Snowsharks have been found living under
the snow in the predominately northern climes of the North American continent.
However, they must migrate according to snowfall.
-
WHAT DO THEY LOOK LIKE?
-
Scientists believe they appear much the
same as the ocean shark, ranging in length from 1 to 8 meters. A snow shark
has never been seen in its entirety in modern times. The dorsal fin only
has been observed. Physical descriptions are based more on legend than
fact.
-
WHAT DO THEY EAT?
-
Snowsharks have an almost insatiable appetite,
particularly while migrating. They will eat almost anything that gets
in their path. They are carnivorous and prefer warm-blooded animals. Small
animals, especially snowshoe rabbits, are their preferred food.
-
WHAT PROOF IS THERE THAT THEY EXIST?
-
Proof exists in sightings, backed up by
historical data. This data is written and recorded audio or video. Also, certain
artifacts exist. There is indeed evidence.
