The Life of Jack Robinson

The Life and Works from Jack

Meteorologists

To be a meteorologist seems like a safe vocation.
How can they be accused of prevarication?
They do make their predictions in percentage.
Before they are hired, The station checks their vintage.

Red sky at night at night, sailors delight.
Red sky in the morning sailors take warning.
Even Jesus mentioned this method in his teaching.
Not too dependable if accuracy is what you are seeking

I think they are accurate more than are wrong.
When they have a winning streak, we never notice how long.
I think that is a human trait we should cast away.
We all make mistakes, as we travel through each day.

We shouldn’t get upset with the weather men.
Even if we get wet when he is wrong again.
A few million dollars worth of equipment helps make their guess.
Why should we come unglued if our hair becomes a mess.

We can look out the window and see if a storm is nearby.
Many storms can be seen with the naked eye.
When we see flashes of light and hear clashes of thunder.
We should take it as an omen, and not go out and wander.
