The Life of Jack Robinson

The Life and Works from Jack

Coffee Tippers

We are a group of seniors who sit around a table.
We are here nearly every day we are able.
Early morning most start off walking
Then get a cup of coffee and turn to talking.

Quite often someone spills their coffee.
I think we should try to find a remedy.
I have asked janitorial to leave a mop nearby.
But they just look me and sigh.

Another answer would be a toddlers cup.
Or maybe an arrow on the side that says up.
Talking with our hands seems to be a culprit;
That we all have, I must admit.

I wonder if we would be on track
if we Tied  our hands behind our back?
Or maybe we should examine our cup
small end down and large end up.

Any other position and the contents come out.
I have studied this closely, there is no doubt.
Of course the spills keep the floors clean of dirt.
I think one fix would be, to be more alert.
