I sit back and contemplate,
biting my nails, and feeling down.
I simply cannot lie still and wait,
knowing that she is not around.
Find her? I know I should.
Lastly realisation sinks and I frowned.
She have left me for good.
What goes around comes around.
I went down on my knees and cried
tears dropping down like rain.
Towards the end , there was no light
All that remains was pain.
Only God would ever understand my plight
all the sacrifices was in vain.
But I will not give up the fight
To let all the sweet memories remain.
I took a deep breath and moved on,
Is misery is all that Love can mean?
The memories have finally gone
blown away, lost in the evening wind.
I look ahead and started to smile
Looking at the place where I have been
Crying my life away all that while.
Now I know what love can mean.
Knowing you was even more unexpected,
for I have shut myself from all.
Reminded myself that the past years was wasted.
while between you and my heart stood a wall.
I look away, refuse to be committed
Because deep inside I don't want to fall
Into the same ravine that made me hurt.
This relationship I really have to stall.
Slowly I discover the wonderful love from you.
The warm feeling spread again within me.
The once dark and gloomy sky turned to blue.
Smiling was, every bird and every bee.
I could not believe that this was true
but I was actually feeling alive and free.
Finally I realised that I have fallen for you.
For you and only you can make me see.
I took your hand and walked down to the bay,
looking at the sea that was ever so blue.
I promise that I will love you every single day
Until finally Death takes me away from you.
I promise to make you happy in almost every way
in every single way that i have ever knew.
These words are all that I can ever say,
