came home at around 4.25 to find my stupid brother using my computer to play his lousy game. then i have to use his computer. damn. now i've finished blogging, i've nothing to do. i have to wait till six to use my computer. this is so absurd. HIM telling ME what time i can use MY computer?? madness.

25th December 2003 10.42.24 pm - merrry christmas ppl!!^^ was a pretty uneventful christmas for me. but who cares. lunch was udon=). afternoon was spent packing my room and playing gunbound. put all my new sec 1 books up on the shelf. new!!^^ all new except for merchant of venice and math textbook. yesterday wrapped five of the books but then ran out of wrapping stuff. so tomorrow going to popular to buy wrapping stuff and scotch tape and stationery and also return library books and go to school and get uniform and art material and stuff.

dinner was at my aunt's place. turkey, potato salad, mashed potatoes, meatballs, noodles, curry, tang hoon...turkey is pretty bland. potato salad was quite good, meatballs were pretty mushy.

two days ago my mum bought me a black string necklace thing with a blue pendant. it's v nice. my eldest aunt got me a notebook, a crunchie bar and a pack of nuts, my 3 cousins got me a borders gift card worth $25.

oops. my mum is chasing me telling me to go to sleep. argh. tt's all then. bye.

22nd December 2003 9.06.40 pm - LOTR keeps getting better and better, and ROTK is the best. absolutely. a perfect end to a perfect story. it's amazing how legolas stays so clean after all the fighting, confusion and madness.=) i guess his hair makes him look very clean too. the ending was pretty, but a bit chang2 qi4. there were these smelly boys sitting next to us. they smelt like my brother when he comes back from canoeing. one of them kept making this 'ssssssssss!' sucking-air-sound. so every exciting scene we would hear 'ssssssssss!' 'ssssssssss!' so irritating. my sister shh-ed him twice, but he was leaning forward in his seat with his dorky eyes wide open staring at the screen and his silly little mouth making the ssssssss! sound. apparently he didn't hear.

before the movie something got under my right lens, so i tried to get it out and after a while i couldn't feel it there anymore, so i thought i got it out. but when i covered my left eye everything was blur. obviously the lens ran out of place. so we went to the toilet and i saw it at the bottom of my eye. usually i'm quite good at moving the lens back into place. but this time was different, because the lens was stuck. as in REALLY stuck. so i tried using my bare finger to move it up. but i pressed it even more so it got stuck even more. then my sis dug her finger sort of under the lens, and sort of pulled it up. or pushed it. whatever. finally it got back into place. my eye was pretty sore after that.

oh yeah, today was posting day. got into rg. cut-off point was 265. cut-off for nanyang was 263. surprisingly the cut-off point for ri was quite low, 262. will be leaving sarah...=( i have yet to call ariel to ask whether she got into raffles. she went to appeal. when i called just now she wasn't in. didn't ask about nat...i figured she got into rg too - got the same marks as me.

16th December 2003 9.32.42 pm - had to take photos again today because the other day's photos didn't turn out good; apparently the guy wasn't a professional. today went to take at the studio, so only took ten formal whole family photos. but we still have the photos from the other day, and some of them turned out quite good. those with the garden background were ok. my sister says the one where we were wearing sunglasses with guns is quite cute. i think the one with our cat inspecting my grandma's neck was cute. looks as if she was staring at her necklace. my brother doesn't know how to smile. his expression was always the same, so grim. some of them he smiled, but even then his smile was weiiiiiiiiird. what's more he had braces.

after taking photos, which finished around 5 pm or so, we went to my grandma's and grandpa's flat, which was just nearby. and we stoned. we sat there and did nothing except talk. i let my uncle see my many blisters on my hands, he said it's a virus. so gave me some cream to apply on the stuff. now i can't eat finger food. or if i want to, it will become spoon food. or fork food. and now my brother tells me not to touch him. so i told him, from now on you don't use my computer. because you will get blisters if you touch the keyboard. and he shuts up. yay!

i like bursting the blisters and squeezing them and watching the plasma ooze out. then i will take a piece of tissue and dab it up. ooooooooooooh. heheheh.

so at around 6 we left for the paramount where we had dinner. yummmmmmm. the peking duck and fo2 tiao4 qiang2 and ostrich meat and little octopuses were gooooooood. i only had one of the octopuses though. because my brother and i were biting the heads off and peering inside. so i got too grossed out after the first one to eat anymore. there was this whole plate of century egg which my sister stuffed herself with. i tried one and decided to swallow it whole. with water, of course. ickkkkk. gross. horrid, smelly century egg.

dessert. mmmmmm. i had honeydew sago and ice cream puffs. ice cream puffs. ice cream puffs. ooooooh. i love them. my cousin and brother and i ate so much that we ordered a second helping. 20 in the first one and 12 in the second. i had seven. yummmmmmmmmmm. oh yah, and fried rice. fried rice came last and everyone was really full. and since my brother was the one who ordered the fried rice, two of them plonked their bowls down in front of him. so he ended up with three bowls of rice to eat. he only ate two though. someone else didn't want to eat his rice so in the end there were two bowls of rice left on the table. no one wanted to eat it. so it just sat on the table while we ate out dessert. and we were pushing it around. i think in the end my father and grandmother ate it. or did they not? i dunno.

anyway. enough of that boring talk. i'm not full right now. wait. i wasn't even full when we finished dinner. everyone was...not me. and my mouth smells terribly of GARLIC. so much garlic. eccchhhhh. smelly. it's now close to ten. maybe i'll go to sleep in about half and hour's time. and yes. again, i am bored. this is the one time i can't wait for school to start. at least then i'll have something to do.

13th December 2003 4.54.07 pm - sorry, haven't blogged for very long. today my uncle's family and grandparents(father's side)came over, and these two specialists came and we took family photos. thousands of them. i wore my new red shirt and my black velvet skirt and my watch and bracelet and lipstick and sparkly lip gloss and socks and shoes and had my hair half tied up and half let down. first few photos was of everyone, formal, with their big big cloth as the backdrop. then took lots of casual ones, most with our garden as backdrop. took two with my sister, cat, grandma and two cousins wearing sunglasses. and a few with my sis and grandfather and two cousins, also wearing sunglasses. and with guns out. lol. we made our grandfather do that too. looked so funny lol. also a few with family, some on my own.

sorry i'm boring you again with this long talk about photo-taking. tonight we're going out for dinner with my uncle and aunt and blah blah again. and i get to wear my new grey shirt and black pants. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

8th December 2003 4.25.25 pm - hi. i'm bored and have nothing to do. so i'm blogging. got my hair cut 2 days ago. now i've got shoulder-length hair and fringe. easier to wash now, and not so tangled. also got lenses 3 days ago. rgp lenses. so ma fan, have to wash and clean and blah blah. on top of that still have to clean earrings. arrgh. sorry i'm boring you with this boring topic.

we've done about half the puzzle. and i did most of it=). blah.

i'm bored. rong wants me to play neopets. but i can't be bothered. who knows how long it's been since i last played. i forgot my password. i don't want to start a new account. i can't be bothered to play. so...arrgh. whatever. bye.

7th December 2003 10.38.13 pm - today my piano teacher dropped by to give me my christmas present.=) gave me a 1000 piece puzzle. very pretty scenery. picture of the church of ramsaw, germany. i've already fitted the sides and done up the bottom left corner of the puzzle, with some holes.

went to my aunt's house for dinner. my aunt(mum's cousin), uncle, uncle, grand aunt and grand uncle came over too, so there was lots to eat, popiah, pepper crab, chicken, curry, blah blah blah. popiah was gooooood. pepper crab wasn't spicy.=( and it was so hard to eat because it wasn't cracked properly. ended up with crab shell pieces all over the place. well, not really, but...it was quite messy. and i had to eat it with a chopstick.

while i was struggling with the crab my uncle came in(bro, cousin and i were eating in the kitchen they were eating outside) and asked us if we wanted some wine, red or white. my cousin didn't want, my bro said a little bit of white. i said i'd never tasted red before. so he poured a little of it in my cup. my experiences with white wines weren't too bad; they tasted pretty all right. my first sip of red wine was ok too; bitter, sweet. and sharp, if you know what i mean. i didn't like that. so i continued sipping through mouthfuls of crab. and started to not like it. it began to taste awful when i drank more of it. hmm. white wine is by far better than red, to me. will try to refrain from wine until i'm of appropriate age.

watched star awards. xie shao guang got three awards. 10 most popular male artistes, special achievement award, and best actor. yay. fantastic actor. chen liping got best actress. so fitting. mo wanwan + yang xiong. i expected jingjing to get best actress. but wanwan also acted pretty well in he2 lan2 cun1.

did i mention the awards? they are SO ugly. the colour, the shape. and the prize winners talk so much, especially patricia mok and chen liping, we got so sian watching them.

6th December 2003 7.55.39 pm - hmm. actually, nothing much has been going on, pretty boring, nothing much to blog about.

my new computer finally arrived. BUT. my stupid brother keeps using it to play his game which can't be played on this comp because the video card isn't good enough. yes, you guessed right - he's using MY computer right now. but nevermind. since he helped me set up my connection and everything i'll let him use it for a bit. i'm supposed to get it back by 8.30. see, at least i set time limits for him. oh yah, during dinner just now, he asked, "since when did you get earrings?" see how blur he can get. it's been four days. whatever. off to have some fruits now. and then gonna play orisinal.

4 December 2003 3.23.33 pm - seems we're not going to my unc's factory anymore. finally i get to stay at home. morning went to queenstown community library. i borrowed 5 books, mum borrowed 6. some for my father and brother. i managed to find lady knight. finally after SO many months of waiting, i get to read it! hm. seems this blog entry is really short. but well. who cares. gonna find someone to play hexic or minesweeper flags with now.

3 December 2003 9.28.01 pm - once again, for the fourth time this week, i. went. out. at least this time it wasn't to shop. i went ice-skating with claire and henny and alayne. at kallang. leisure park. went for lunch at burger king first. had a mushroom swiss double meal. $6. well, i don't normally have such expensive lunches. the other time i had a six-dollar lunch i ate this pretty tasteless bowl of tempura udon. well, guess i should treat myself to some junk food once in a while. no harm done.

From this paragraph onwards, I shall make an effort to type in PROPER ENGLISH. Proper spelling, punctuation, grammar, and capital letters, Chinese han4 yu3 pin1 yin1 allowed, and other common slangs or dialect. Otherwise, I will begin to write in bad english when I go to secondary school.

At the skating rink, Alayne and I spent about - what - half an hour - trying to get the proper pair of skates onto our feet. We both had to change them four times - the people behind the counter were getting pretty fed up. My skates, size six, were, of all things, BROKEN. Well, not exactly broken, but they poked in at me from the sides. The guy said all the size sixes were like that. So for the whole time, I was skating with this pokey sensation at my ankles. Hence I couldn't skate properly. aaaargh. i'm getting so sian typing with first-letter-of-the- sentence-caps. so i'll forget about that. claire is so absolutely ZAI. she can skate backwards SO well. i just can't do that. i've been trying and trying, i still can't. i think maybe i'm getting the hang of it (i tried shifting my weight as ele said the other time). claire and henny ended up spinning on the ice. so many times. i got dizzy even by looking at them. i wonder if they did? =P anyway. skated for like about 3 hours, then our time was up, had to go. i grabbed an iced milo from burger king, then had to go home. the rest stayed at claire's house until...5 something? around there. anyway. tomorrow i'm going to the library in the morning, and then my uncle's photo album factory in the afternoon. i'll be out AGAIN. so sian man. i hope next week i'll get to stay at home and slack.
