  Before & After photos

 Living Room

Before: Pink walls - traffic flow & art display problems. (picture has been reduced)

After: new paint - Mennonite Grey   (blue/grey) on the walls, relocation of art, & furniture placement.

Basement

Family Room ~ West Wall

Before: Fireplace & shelving need work.  Fireplace if lost among display of artifacts.  The shelving cuts into the fireplace, which is unusually trimmed with cheap wood to hide gaps.

After: Fireplace: De-cluttered & Cleaned.  Unnecessary wood trim removed.  Recessed shelving redesigned.  New furniture and art still to come

NOTE: In all fairness the camera & I did a poor job.  You can't see the freshness of the new colours and the ceiling is much lighter.

Before
Family Room ~ East Wall
  • Stark and cold white walls
  • furniture place so neither fireplace  or the TV are viewed properly
  • Little used room

After

  • New window treatments - enameled wood blinds.

  • Newly reupholstered furniture & furniture placement to enjoy both fireplace and TV area.

  • Warm creamy walls compliment the grey carpet and blue and gold sofa.

  • Art, Lighting and plants arranged.

  • Existing shelving may be addressed in the future

Guest Bedroom

This room was vacant for some time and the home owner wished to have a hotel atmosphere for their guests.

  • uneven walls lead to the dropped ceiling which worked well even in a basement, adding brightness.
  •  the window/urban fireplace with glass treatment and edging hides view that is under the deck.
  • Door trim & baseboards are painted for a more sophisticated look
