#10: Godsend by dc Talk

dc Talk is not a group that does love songs.  They never have been and never will be.  However, they are a band that likes to stay full of surprises.  And
Godsend was a definite surprise.  Toby, Michael and Kevin decided it was time for a love song, and Godsend is what came out of their efforts.  When all is said and done, it was definitely worth it.  This song is one that makes you think of the time that you found that one person you thought you'd never find (or it allows to look fondly forward at the time when you do find that person).  it's just a great, simple love song.
#9: Amazed by Lonestar

Lonestar now makes it's second appearance on this list.  I'm Already There came around earlier (#20), but now it's time for the song that simply blew up in most every radio format.
Amazed was a huge smash not only on the country charts, but also on the AC and Pop charts as well.  And it was definitely deserving of all the recognition it got.  It's a song that's about the awe that comes with love.  The awe of seeing that one person every day and knowing that they are yours forever.  It is, well, amazing.  And that's why this song became such a smash success.  It became one of most played songs at weddings across the country (and still is today).
#8: I Give In by Sara Evans

I Give In is arguably the sexiest song on this list.  Much like Rascal Flatts' I Melt, this is a song that is all about sex at times.  However, when listening to the song, you can tell it's about so much more than that.  This is about real, true love.  It's a song about looking into your lover's eyes and being able to say (as Evans does in this song), "I see the souls of our unborn children."  It's about being together until the end of time.  It's about dancing around all night long just because you can.  It is about love, plain and simple.  And the emotion with which Sara sings every song allows this one to become even more amazing.  It's just a wonderful song.
#7: I Will Be Here by Steven Curtis Chapman

The ultimate wedding song.  That's what Steven Curtis Chapman created when he wrote
I Will Be Here.  Chapman has always been impressive with his ability to write the love song (What I Really Want To Say already showed up on this list at #15), but when he wrote this song, he made himself a mainstay in the wedding playlists for years to come.  And that's because I Will Be Here is a song about dedication.  It's about being there through everything, which is what people vow to do when they get married.  I will be here...it's such a simple statement, yet it's so hard to remember sometimes.  This song brings the thought forward in a great way.
#6: She's My Kind Of Rain by Tim McGraw

Tim McGraw has never been one to shy away from writing the love song (and with a wife like Faith Hill, who can blame him?).  He tends to write them quite well.
She's My Kind Of Rain just happens to be one of his best.  Why?  Because it's just written wonderfully.  Tim is just impressive with both his singing and writing on this song.  It's a song that's pretty simple, yet it puts forth the message of love in such a great way that it's hard not to enjoy this song.  Just a great one all around.
