SuDoKu in the Classroom
Use SuDoKu in your classroom to teach patterns and logic! Use it to keep them busy (I mean, "occupied in academic and intellectual pursuits").
Helpful SuDoKu Resources:
Free SuDoKu worksheets on my website The Précis -- Download and print any of these free worksheets to use at home or in the classroom. The worksheets are classified according to their difficulty level and many of them are easy. There are some medium-level puzzles for students who want a challenge. Share these puzzles with other teachers; they truly are free and I am pleased to share the worksheets. They have been a great tool for my classroom and I am sure you will enjoy them. (Bookmark the site and check it every ten days for more and more puzzles!)
Posts about SuDoKu on The Précis -- As I add puzzle worksheets, I announce the puzzles and describe in the blog. I frequently add comments, tips, and student responses to the various worksheets. My students really love the puzzles.
Books of SuDoKu (available at 3x5 Books) -- If you love solving SuDoKu puzzles yourself -- and can't find enough of them -- here are some books with challenging puzzles. Ordering is simple and secure; my 3x5 Books website is powered by Amazon.com, a trusted brand and name in online sales! (By the way, there are several great books for English teachers in my store.)
