The Right Attitude
|
| |
I have always believed that destiny is not a matter of chance but a matter of choice.
And that success is just around the corner if you want it to be there. But the thing about SUCCESS is that it requires attitude. It requires personal growth and development. I believe Life just happens to be very flexible that the forces of nature can be molded into something that one desires it to be. Think of being successful and you will be. Think of being helpless and broke and you will be. As you can see, nobody is born wealthy or poor. Not even inheritance of wealth can change that. A lot of people go thru life from rags to riches and from riches to rags. All of this entirely depends on what one’s end result aspires it to be. All successful people started somewhere down the road of hardships and paid the price of success. In this regard I would like to share some readable materials on what a person needs to become successful in life.

Success = Vehicle + Driver
The number one obstacle to your goals is YOU
Driver = Vision + Attitude
Your attitude determines your altitude.
We wanted to be the best that we can be.
Keep your attitude in check
If not constantly in checked, we will experience up and down of our attitude:
• We climb and we will definitely slide back.
• Sometimes we’re proud of ourselves; sometimes we’re so ashamed of ourselves that we hate ourselves.
• Sometimes we do great things, sometimes we do things that hurt others.
• Sometimes we stretch to our potential, sometimes we shrink.
• Sometimes we’re enthusiastic, sometimes we’re not.
• Sometimes we’re inspired, sometimes we’re not.
• Sometimes we’re the best that we can be, sometimes we’re not.
How to constantly keep our attitude in check:
• Inspire yourselves with a model
• Read inspiring books, listen to inspiring audios and watch inspiring movies.
• Bottom line, we have to be inspired everyday to be the best that you can be.
The Master’s Touch
A farmer in a small village in Germany was living in extreme poverty. He was at such a low point his family was starving, they needed food. In a nearby village an auction was being conducted. The farmer took his only worthwhile possession, a fiddle and a bow to the auction. He asked the auctioneer to sell it for him. The auctioneer looked at the dusty violin and bow and he politely told the farmer that he would consider auctioning it, if he had time at the end of the auction.
The auction was finished and as an afterthought, the auctioneer felt pity on the farmer and held up the fiddle and bow. “What will you bid for this fiddle and bow?” asked the auctioneer. Shouts came from the audience, “$1, $1.50, $2, $3.50, $5.00!” “Going once, going twice for $5 dollars, are their any other bids? The fiddle and the bow are…..”
The farmer interrupts, “Please sir, let me have that fiddle and the bow.” He took his handkerchief, polished the fiddle and then did the same thing with the bow. He shined them and made them look beautiful. He then played the most beautiful music that the town had ever heard.
He handed the fiddle and bow back to the auctioneer
The auctioneer asked, “Ladies and gentlemen, what will you bid for this beautiful violin and magnificent bow?” The bids came in, “$100, $200, $1000, $2000, $5000, $10,000” and then all the way up to $27,000.
Right Attitude-The Master’s Touch
What was the difference in that $5 dusty fiddle and bow and the $27,000 beautiful violin and magnificent bow? It was nothing more than the touch of the masters hand.
What is the difference between where you are right now and where you want to be? It is nothing more than the touch of the master's hand.
Right Attitude
Our lives are not determined by what happens to us,
But by how we react to what happens;
Not by what life brings to us;
But by the attitude we bring to life.
A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes.
It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary positive results.
Watch therefore, your attitude, for it commands your thoughts.
Restrain your thoughts, for they become words.
Choose your words, for they translate into actions.
Understand your actions, for they form your habits.
Study your habits, for they will mold your character.
Develop your character, for it is your DESTINY.
