About Janene, by Janene What is there to know about Janene? I used to tell a lot about myself on the 'net, and I used to have a lot of things to say, but now, I find that I don't have that much to say. Maybe I'm getting more modest as I'm getting older. I stop and smell the daisies, roses and any blooming flower that happens to cross my path. I tilt my head and look for the stars and marvel at their beauty. I enjoy taking photos of trees. I appreciate nature, but I'll kill any bug that crosses my path. I'm one of those crazy yahoos who sing while driving (and loudly, but not necessarily badly). I think nothing of driving 4 hours for a cup of coffee and conversation. I am a prosey-poet, preferring to write in free verse than any other poetic structure (although I have been known to compose Shakespearean sonnets). It's often autobiographical, but perhaps that's because I can't fictionalize what I'm feeling. I've been known to write fiction that is based on my personal life.
