"Tell me that you love me. You know you do, so just tell me."
Lisa paused. "Michael, I know what you're up to. You got yourself into this, I can't get you out."
"What do you mean by that?"
"You know exactly what I mean. And no, Michael. I'm sorry. I don't love you anymore. I will never love you again."
Lisa hung up and sighed. She was trying to gain an introspective. She wished she could tell him how she really feels, but he didn't know what had happened since they broke up. He doesn't know what she has become. She hated the fact that she needed to hide her feelings for the sake of the man that she loved. For him and his life.
When Lisa had hung up, Michael thought about the words Lisa had said to him. She was lying and she knew it. Sharon's name danced around in his head.
"No!" Michael cried to no one in particular. "No! I'm not loving her!"
How can you refuse to love someone that you can't help BUT love? Michael thought.
He had to get his mind off of Sharon. He didn't care what Lisa said. He wasn't going to let Lisa go that easily.
Michael grabbed his windbreaker and hurried to his van. It was a van he always used instead of a limo so he wouldn't be noticed. As he drove, the voices started coming back.
We need your blood...your blood...
"Stop talking to me!!!" he screamed. He turned on the radio and blasted the music. He could still hear the voices loud and clear. He begin to drive up a bridge.
Give us your blood, Michael....
"Stop it!! Leave me alone!" Tears were coming to his eyes. He turned the steering wheel violently and attempted to drive the van off the bridge. He slammed on the brakes right before he was about to fall to his death. The voices were driving him crazy. Even though he was nearly about to do what the voices had been telling him, they wouldn't stop. Michael took at deep breath and started the car again. He drove towards Lisa Marie's place with the voices still talking in his ear.
Before Lisa could even figure out that it was Michael at the door, Michael jumped on her and started kissing her. They both stumbled inside the house and they landed on the couch. Finally Lisa pushed Michael off of her.
"What the hell do you think you're doing??!"
"Lisa, please," Michael begged. He looked as if he was about to go insane at any second.
"Please, Lisa, love me. Oh God, the voices..." Michael's eyes went upward towards the ceiling. "The voices, make them stop!"
He covered his ears. Lisa gazed at him; obviously thinking that Michael has officially become mentally unstable. Then it dawned on her what was going on. She swallowed hard. It was time to tell him.
