Sharing Photos
Does this happen to you? The week after a competition, all of the parents
show up with their albums. Each one has a few really good pictures, and everyone
barters for the double or scrambles for reprints. In the end, it's too confusing
for everyone to get all of the photos that they need.
There are a few solutions to this problem:
 | Develop them online - There are many online photo labs that will
develop you film and show you the images online. Then, anyone may view the
photos and order prints online. ClubPhoto
is a good site for this type of activity. |
 | Upload them - There are many web sites that will allow you to
upload digital or scanned photos and let others view, print, download and
order reprints. Many sites have very affordable rates for reprints,
including ClubPhoto, Ofoto
and others. Note that some of them may either limit the resolution of
uploads, or resample them to smaller (lower-resolution) photos on the site. |
 | Burn a CD - Get the most technical photo person among the parents
to scan all of the "good" pictures and produce CDs for the team with all of
the pictures on them. There are also free or low-cost programs that will let
you create slide shows or screens savers from these photos. |
