2" Tee Valve
I wanted to build a simple, easy-to-build valve that would out perform a chopped sprinkler valve and that would not require lathe work. The chopped plug is held in place with eight 12-24 machine screws. Not shown, a Schrader valve and a blowgun pilot valve are attached to the 1/4" NPT close nipple. The purple part is a 3/16" neoprene diaphragm that is spring loaded closed. It is stiffened by a 1/16" thick steel disc attached with a bolt and nut. The barrel is a Sch40 1" pipe for launching superballs.
