Definition of Star Topology
- All the computers and other devices on the network connect to a central device(hub/switch) ,thus forming a star.

| 1) If one device (pc/printer) fails, only that device is affected. |
1) If the hub or switch fails, the entire network will be malfunction. |
| 2) Devices (pc/printer) can be added to or removed from network with little or no distruption. |
