Skye

Skye was raised in a hippie commune in Montana. Her parents just wanted to raise their children in a peaceful place where they could think and write, and breathe fresh clean air. She has 2 sisters, Rainbowe and Springe, and a younger brother, Rivere.

She was home schooled along with her siblings several other children who lived there, and has developed a very serious interest in environmental issues. A vegetarian who gardens to raise her own organically grown food, she believes in living harmoniously with the earth and all creatures.

Skye met the other girls on a literature discussion community on the internet. The group has been communicating regularly for 6 years-discussing various books they have read. This year they decided to meet and take a small vacation together in Longville, MN. They had read that Longville was the smallest town in Minnesota to have a public library, and had heard of Longville's turtle races on National Public Radio last year.
