Paula

Paula earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, and went to Scotland to study at Glasgow Veterinary School.

Currently an unattached single woman living in Boston, Paula loves the night life. She is always the life of any party, and many's the weekend you will find her in a lounge listening to Zelda, her favorite nightclub singer. She never lets her love of a good time get in the way of her career, however.

6 years ago, Paula and another veterinarian opened the Lil' Critters Animal Hospital. Her plan had been to attend medical school after receiving her degree, but she decided to stick with her dream of treating animals. Paula has wanted to work with animals since childhood, and volunteered and later worked in a vet's office before attending veterinary school.

Paula met the other girls on a literature discussion community on the internet. The group has been communicating regularly for 6 years-discussing various books they have read. This year they decided to meet and take a small vacation together in Longville, MN. They had read that Longville was the smallest town in Minnesota to have a public library, and had heard of Longville's turtle races on National Public Radio last year.
