Ixion: How did youre music career begin, and how long have you been playing out?
Lennon: I started studying piano when I was 4 and writing when I was 7. I started playing out in a bar in Hendersonville at the age of 15 and just kind of started from there.
Ixion: Where are you from, and what was the scene there like?
Lennon: Hendersonville. What scene?!
Ixion: How did you get signed?
Lennon: I had done a development deal with RCA for 3 songs. RCA released me and basically we just started shopping around the demos for Brake and Couldnt Breathe. Ken Krongard (my original a&r guy at Arista) knew of me, heard them demos, and it basically began from there.
Ixion: Recently there was a line-up change for you band, what was the reason behind that?
Lennon: Some of the players just wanted to move on and do their own things.
Ixion: Give us a rundown of the current line-up of the band, and what they play?
Lennon: Techs-guitar, Dony-drums, Brian-bass.
Ixion: Are the old members involved in any projects as of yet?
Lennon: I really couldnt tell you; Im not sure.
Ixion: What equipment do you use?
Lennon: A variety of equipment; Im not really sure either.
Ixion: How would you define your sound?
Lennon: Different; hard rock, I sing though and there are story lines and such.
Ixion: What is your favorite track off of you debut album, 5:30 Saturday Morning?
Lennon: Morning
Ixion: What will be your next single off the album?
Lennon: Havent decided yet. Were only finally going to radio with Brake of your Car now, so no decisions have been made concerning the next single.
Ixion: Has there been any new material in the works yet?
Lennon: Nothing at this time.
Ixion: What are your current plans for the band?
Lennon: Just to keep playing out.
Ixion: So far, who has been your favorite act to play out with?
Lennon: We havent had a bad combination yet. All the bands we have played with have always treated us with respect. My favorite has to be The Cult only for the reason they were our first tour.
Ixion: Care to share any road stories that stand out?
Lennon: Nothing too exciting.
Ixion: Before you were signed to Arista, were any other labels interested in you?
Lennon: RCA, Flawless, Warner Brothers, and a few others.
Ixion: Of all the places youve played out at, whats your favorite?
Lennon: Montreal Canada
Ixion: Is there anything else you would like to say?
Lennon: Nope.
