We have carried out much research into child abuse on the Island, paedophiles living here - YES known and living here - and paedophiles held in our local prisons.
Did you know that in the main when paedophiles are released from our local prisons the vast majority stay and live on the Island !
We would ask the question, "is the Isle of Wight becoming the dumping ground for convicted paedophiles in Great Britain?"
This is compounding the problem locally, where we feel that ' potentially' our children may be at greater risk than in any other concentrated area in the whole country....
We are NOT a vigilante organisation - we just wish to be kept informed and in so-doing keep you, the Island's community, informed also. There are many people who will attempt to minimise the problems that paedophiles / child sex offenders present to society.
It is fairly well known that as little as 5% are not charged, therefore not prosecuted, therefore not convicted.
Most criminal activity reduces with age, but in the case of the paedophile / child sex offender their offending behaviour intensifies as they get older.

The warped mind of the hardened paedophile / child sex offender tells him that his activities are NOT wrong. He believes we are wrong for trying to restrain his activity. This is what makes him especially dangerous -

What some Psychologists fail to come to terms with is the fact according to most evidence, only rarely does a paedophile /child sex offender stop after the first offence. The evidence points to a large number of repeat offences.
It is well known that men convicted for the first time, of sexual offences, often have a history of offending that began many years earlier, which remains undetected, until eventually, thankfully they are convicted.
We are sorry if we paint a depressing picture but we get very angry when so-called "professionals" attempt to underestimate the seriousness of the problem.
