FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

As any of you know who have read my book, The Promise, or my various articles and WebPages, my ministry is projecting God's love and forgiveness for all men.
The Lord is showing me people's lives where His Church has failed in sharing God's love. Here is such a person's profile:
He was born Gay, so he told me, ...from his earliest recollections, he was always that way. He was raised in a bible-teaching church and he struggled everyday trying NOT to be what his inner-most self boasted him to be. He begged God to change him. He tried in his own power to change himself -- but the desires in him were so primal and so supernaturally powerful, there was no hope. He knew what God said about homosexuality and he hid the terror within himself, as he tried unsuccessfully to be "normal" like he was taught to be. He wanted God to love him -- but the church said God could NOT stand the sight of those like him. He wanted to die because he felt God and all those he loved were blaming him for what he was. In his mind, he thought "how could God create me and then discard me? Why wouldn't God answer his prayers or else destroy him if he was worthless?" But no power came down from the heavenlies and he did not change. He thought, "There must NOT be a God" because in his heart, he knew his requests were sincere and true. Yet, no help came. The only recourse he had was to either kill himself or to accept who and what he was. He found that the world would embrace him as a gay man. It was only God and Christians who judged and condemned him (according to what he was taught).
In Hosea 4:6, God says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge".
But, God did indeed provide help for this man, who now bitterly denies the existance of God. But this man was condemned because of lack of knowledge by his Christian peers. His church did not recognise, nor practice deliverance, a power given with the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This man was created 'perfect' by God. God does not make junk and God loves Him. So, being that this is true, what IS the ANSWER????
1) First, the church's part in this man's destruction stemmed from judgment and 'lack of knowledge' and the church did not correctly discern the body of Christ. The bible talks of a church that 'has a form of Godliness, but denies the POWER thereof". But, the true church is commanded to know and keep God's commandments, 2) to teach the GOOD NEWS to reach the lost, 3) to heal the sick, cast out demons, cleanse the lepers 4) that there is therefore NOW no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus -- (and this man was saved as a child and young adult). Therefore since his church leaders carried no power, they could not deliver him and so they condemned him.
What a shame for 'this body of believers' to bear because of the church's ignorance!
