Well it must of been in 1988 I would have been about 13 I was in my Dad's car and U got the look came on. I thought this is a great song I knew the voice of Sheena Easton and I wondered who the other person was. I was shocked to find out it was Prince and sorry to say discusted. I was a child who believed what many of the papers said, I thought he is really weird and he goes on about sex all the time. I was very much into pop music but it was manafucted things like Kylie Minogue and Bros. |

I forgot about the song and then I got the Madonna album Like a Prayer. I was shocked again to find him on it with Love song. I went on to forget about him again as New Kids On The Block came out and I went mad about them. Then Batman came out and well everyone went mad about that I really liked the songs from it but I still stopped myself from getting the album I thought there's better stuff out there. |

I then started getting more money, I was working and getting more into music. Then Gett Off came out and the pull of his music was just too much for me. I gave in and bought the single Gett Off then the album Sign O The Times then Diamonds and Pearls. The speed of me getting into his music grew and I was soon buying an album a week or sometimes two. Then when I had bought them all I then went onto buying singles. I have not got them all and I always perfer Vinyl singles, so it is not often easy to find them. My love of Prince will contuine no matter what his name is and I will be forever searching for all his vinyl singles. |
