Tears immediately filled Aaron�s eyes and his shouts of joy filled the room. He turned around and wrapped his arms around Jess. As he took her face in his hands it was as if he were in slow motion. He was about to kiss her lips but at the lst second gently kissed her nose. �I thought I had lost you forever.�

Nurses watched from the door with tears in their eyes as Aaron began to freak out again. He was jumping around and screaming when suddenly he jumped high into the air and did a back flip.

The nurses cheered and Aaron turned around and ran over to the one who had kept coming in and threw his arms around her, �Thank you so much,� he whispered.

When Aaron turned back to Jess she had tears streaming down her face. �Can you guys call her family please?� He whispered walking slowly back to the bed.

The nurses shuffled out of the room and gently closed the door. �Jess� are you okay?� his heart was racing a mile a minute as he leaned over her.

Jess slowly nodded and wrapped her arms around his neck, setting her head on his shoulder. �I was so scared I would lose my best friend in the world. I love you so much, you will always be my best friend. No matter what.� A smile spread across his face.

Jess pulled back a little and rested one of her hands over Aaron�s heart. He sat up on the bed and Jess rested her head on his chest as he slowly rocked back and forth. �JESSICA!� Caden ran in the room screaming and threw his arms around his baby sister. �I got here as fast as I could. Mom and Dad are on their way.�

Jess gently kissed Caden�s cheek just as their parents ran in the room. Aaron slid off the bed and stood back trying to be as much of a gentleman as possible while the family in front of him hugged and cried. As they were preparing to leave because the doctor needed to check on her Jess motioned for Aaron to come back over. �It was Jason,� she whispered in his ear saying the first thing since asking him not to leave.

�I know Jess. The police are gonna get him. I promise.� Aaron hugged her and slowly walked out of the room after her family.

�Excuse me Mr. Carter,� the Nurse Aaron had hugged walked over to him.

�You can call me Aaron.�

�Aaron� I�m sorry I bothered you before.�

�It�s okay.�

�Um� she�ll probably stay pretty quite for awhile. It�s kind of normal.�

�I�ll keep that in mind.�

�Don�t give up hope now, you�ve made it so far.�

�I won�t I promise,� Aaron hugged her again and ran to catch up with everyone else.
