�Aaron, Jess won�t talk to anyone but you. Not even me.� Caden whispered sadly.

�I know, and it�s not like she even says a lot to me.� Aaron replied absentmindedly.

�The doctor says he�ll send her home but he�s worried about her eating and sleeping.� Caden suddenly turned to Aaron, �Maybe you could stay at our house for awhile and help her.�

�Do you think Mom and Dad would mind?�

�No, Mom would do anything if she thinks it might help.�

�I�ll ask tonight.� Aaron paused. �Caden?�

�Yeah man?�

�Is it wrong for me to want to kill that bastard for what he did to her?�

�You�re not the only one Aaron, trust me. I don�t think I could�ve imagined hating someone so much. He practically took her entire life from her. She can never be the same again and it hurts.�

Aaron stood up without a word and walked out of the room. He was sick of being sad, and crying. �I got to be a man. I have to be strong for her.�

His mind raced as he drove. Everyone was relying on him it was almost like he was their superman. He had to save everyone's world from crashing down without letting his fall either. "Was this what the bastard wanted?" Then Aaron realized Jason didn't do this because of Jess, he wanted to get back at him, the worst way he knew how.
