May, 2002 | Following what he thought to be unfair processing of his matches and biased for the bigger spenders, AJ Honold RETIRES from the IWA!! He supposedly faxed his matches in before the deadline but they didn't play one of his leagues - the league with a 500 strat that would have won the IWA World Title and $500 in REAL money!! AJ's retirement also brings the closure of IWAinfo.com and so goes the #1 IWA-related Site. Uh oh....
- Steve Hite is also pissed aboutt AJ's screw-job by the IWA and the fact that he himself got a #2 Six-Man team instead of winning World Six-Man when the winner allegedly didn't even hold any in-league Six-Man titles that cycle! So, Steve and AJ are doing the best thing you can do to protest against a business you support - Quit and stop giving them money!
- Robert Lawrence also retires frrom the IWA. Lack of activity and overall interest in the game were cited as his reasons.
- SL member Alan Handley also rettires from the IWA.
- Nathan Jendrick has called it qquits too.
- EDGE member Tim Zaegel is hangiing it up for a little while too. He's off to defend our freedom overseas.....and Bush's rights to that oil pipeline running through Afghanistan! - Brian Hitchens also leaves SL aand joins UKA! And due to a no-slashing rule enforced by UKA for years, Brian has to drop his 187 gimmick-stable too.
- Zach Gargus was kicked out of WWHY="We Hate You" and decided to form his own stable with an even more idiotic name.... IHY="I Hate You". What a fuckin winner!
- Rumor has it that SL< may crumble with all of the losses they've sustained recently! A few people have told me that some of their big 'name' managers are shopping around for offers from other big-time stables. It could just be bullshit though.....
- I don't know if this shit is true, butt it's been reported that Zach Gargus can tie his frickin' shoes with his enormous "Dumbo" ears! There's also this sick rumor goin' around that he uses those big ass ears to stroke his little mushroom. Yuck! Bad, poop dog! Bad!
- And check this out....I heard Mark Duchaine is getting paid to be a stand-in for (what else?) a Vulcan on the UPN T.V. show Star Trek: Enterprise! Way to go, Spock!
