Argeles is split in to three areas the town ,the beach, and the port.
THE TOWN is a typical old French town dating back to the 9th centure with small side street, street cafes, idyllic sqares, shops and restaurants. Ideal for a quiet browse, but there is a lively street market twice a week which sells local produce.
THE BEACH "La plage" is a short distance from the town with its own shops cafes and markets. The beach is 7-k long and annually is awarded a blue flag for a "clean beach". There is a 3-k promenade for a stroll. Bathing in the clean mediterrannean, boating or indulging in other water sports it is your choice.
THE PORT has a modern marina with plenty of moorings, shops, cafes, boat trips and fishing boats selling off their catches.
