"Squiggly Clay"
"That's when I found your squiggly clay, How did you do it? It was moving, and it looked goofy, so I took it to play with. It was a lot of fun, and I squished it, and it's not squiggly any more. Can you do it again?"
"I don't know what you are talking about, but if I find you in my room, just one more time, I'll beat your ass!"  He was angry at his brother, and his stupid little joke.
          Squiggly clay!
The doorbell rang. It was Stu coming over to study.
"get your sorry little butt out of my room, and don't come in again unless I call you"
"Aaron" it was his mom, "Stu is here" .
"We're going to study together, send him on up, OK?"

The two boys worked for about an hour, Stu was doing a history project, he had to do final paper on world war two.  Aaron was putting himself in a lost world, in the company of Huey, Dewey  and Louie. When he was done,  Aaron put down his pen, and walked  around his table to look over Stu's shoulder.
"Man, this is tough" Stu said, "I've already got eight pages done"
     "What are you writing about?"
"The turning point in World War Two" Stu answered aloofly
                           "What was that?"
"The landing at Normandy" Stu explained,  Hitler was ready and waiting, but he didn't know what beach the invasion would come from. It was a Top secret,   Hey, take a look at this, you might like to see  what I got,  It's very rare".  Stu dug into his back pack and pulled out a brown paper bag, with something wrapped in it.
"They belong to my dad's collection, He's letting me keep them for the presentation.          Unwrapping the bags, held closed by a rubber band, he pulled out two plastic figures.  Each about four inches tall.
"Cool, let me see them" Aaron said.  He examined the hand painted figures.
      "Who are they ?"
"They come from a set of collectible figures, called, "Great leaders of the world" The one dressed like a General is Mousallini, and the other is Hitler. I think the Hitler one, was made in Germany" Stu said," Look at the detail, I think they are old, my dad had to repaint them once, long ago"
All Aaron could say, was "Neat"
"Aaron " It was his mom calling from downstairs, "Dinner is ready, come on down"
"Hey Stu, can you stay for dinner?"
"Let me call my mom, and ask"   He picked up the phone by the desk, dialed quickly,  a few seconds later, he connected.
"Yeah, I can stay for dinner, my mom will be over to pick me up at eight thirty, is that OK?"
"Great," Aaron replied, "Mom!" he called down the stairs, "Stu is staying for dinner, OK?"
"Have him call home and see if it's OK," came the reply.  Aaron high-fived Stu.

The boys sat around the dinner table, the Aaron's mom had set.  Aaron finished the meatloaf, and mashed potatoes, and pushed his green beans around the plate.  Stu finished everything on his plate.  Mark sat, quietly pouting.
"What's wrong Mark, you seem upset" his mom asked.
"Aaron won't make any more squiggly clay for me" he said ,  to which she replied,
"Aaron, you should learn to cooperate with  your brother, If he wants you to make him some squiggly clay, you should be glad that he's looking up to you"
        "But Mom, I don't even   "
"Aaron, I don't want to argue the point, be good to your brother,"  she paused for a few seconds, and then added,
"He really does look up to you,  you know, with your father gone,"  she stopped,  her analyst said she should watch her hostility reactions, in front of the children.  Aaron looked down, almost embarrassed
"Alright mom,  I'll humor him, although I don't know what he is talking about"
"That was an excellent dinner Mrs. Harper." Stu said politely,
Aaron smiled, Stu was always so polite in front of his mom, and all the other parents, he almost suspected Stu was laying it on a little thick  on purpose.
The phone rang, and Aaron's mom picked it up, it was her friend.
"Why don't you boys clean off the table, and go up and play for a while,  When I'm done, I'll call you down for dessert" she said  cradling the phone between her neck and shoulder.

"OK" asked Aaron, "what is squiggly clay?"
