Welcome
Note From The President
Well first off, thanks for coming to visiting the IVC Circle K website. It's a work in progress, so please bear with me. Second, let's talk a little about why the members of IVC Circle K are so "nuts for service." It starts with the heart of the members. Any person who wants to better their community and the environment that surrounds them has the ability to be a member, and the compassion from these people form the club.
Like any other organization, we build a bond through service projects and social events. The purpose of IVC Circle K is different from one of a university because it is a commuter school. Take that versus a four-year university that dorms fellow members. You only get to spend so much time with a fellow member at IVC before they leave for another school. The purpose of IVC Circle K is to be significant, not only in the community, but to the members as well. In order for this to happen, we hold service projects and events to grow as a family.
We have events in our calendar planned for the rest of this year which include a range from working with children, doing volunteer work for local soup kitchens, to simply spending time with eachother.
I just want you guys to know the hard work that your board has done to try to get IVC out there. IVC Circle K is a group of members with different backgrounds of talent-so there is no "type" of person fit for Circle K. In reality, everyone is! So come join the family that we have, reap all the benefits from taking on some leadership rolls and have fun. Hope to see you there!
