Romans 8:18 God's Glory

Today I'm talking to you about a verse from the Letter of Paul to the Romans. It comes out of Chapter 8 Vs. 18. It reads this: "For I know that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us." Now you may say, big deal, BUT IT IS. Paul is writing this to the Romans. How many of you have seen Gladiator? Those were the Romans. They were being SET ON FIRE!! They were being chopped up, and let out in lions dens!! And here Paul writes to these Romans saying that these sufferings are not even WORTHY TO BE COMPARED!! In Greek compared means to be set on a scale with. To be balanced with. Picture this: Gods glory and the sufferings. WAIT YOU NOT ALLOWED TO because THESE SUFFERINGS AREN'T WORTY TO BE COMPARED WITH GODS GLORY. So remember this: Whatever you are going through life know that, "the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us."
