Chapter one hundred and seventy-four:
Jen, Becky and Christy had moved from the bus to the venue shortly
after the boys took the stage, and the last of the fans had made their way
inside for the show.
”Wow, they’re really great tonight.” Becky observed. “I mean, they’re great
most nights, but they’re definitely doing well tonight.” Becky observed.
She was sitting with Christy and Jen in what was normally the VIP
section of the club; a large u-shaped booth located near the bar.
Christy leaned back in her seat, and peered over the crowd to see
the band.
A smile crossed her lips. “Isaac looks fantastic tonight, doesn’t he? I love
those dress pants on him.”
Becky laughed. “Good god. You’ve got a one tracked mind haven’t you?”
“I could have told you that ages ago.”
Jenna said, not taking her eyes off the stage.
“Yeah, thanks guys.” Christy rolled her eyes and took a sip from
her ice tea. “But I think I’m perfectly allowed to ogle my future husband.”
“God, that’s going to be weird isn’t it? One man
for the rest of your life?” Jen asked. “I thought you’d drop dead before
then.”
“So did I.” Christy laughed. “But I’m
more than happy to spend the rest of my life with Isaac.”
”Have you thought about kids yet?” Becky inquired, playing with the cap of her
water bottle.
“No. Do you think we should?”
“Well, yeah. If you don’t want kids and he does, than you’re in s
bit of a dilemma.” Becky pointed out.
“I never wanted children before, but now that I’ve met him, I want
whatever he wants.”
Jen rolled her eyes. “How nineteen-fifties house wife of you.”
“Look, things change when you fall in love, okay? I changed, and
if I have children that are as perfect for me as my husband-to-be, than I want
that too. I want to be a housewife, raising children and taking care of them.
You might experience that one day too, if you ever get the giant stick out of
your ass.”
“Ugh!” Jenna replied and pushed herself out of the booth and
disappeared from view.
