Chapter one
hundred and fifty-five:
She stopped
under the awning, and shook her hands at her sides. “That’s so cold!”
He chuckled. “No
kidding, you’re soaked already!” He pulled his coat away from her and shook it
out.
She smoothed her
hair down with her hands. “Does my hair look okay?”

“Great, come on.”

“No, you won’t.”

“Well, if you

“Umm… diet Pepsi?”
“Okay, I’ll be
right back,”
Jen waited
patiently while he went to the concession stand and returned with a large
bucket of popcorn and two drinks. He handed one to her, and followed her
towards the theater.
“Where do you
want to sit?”
“You choose.”
She smiled, following him up the stairs.
