Chapter one hundred and fifty two:

Becky lifted her head off Zac’s shoulder with a sigh. She stretched her legs out in front of her the best she could.

“What’s wrong, babe?” Zac asked, looking up at her from his hand held video game.

“I can’t sleep.”

“I thought you were tired.” He paused the game and tucked it back into his backpack.

“I am. I’m completely exhausted.”

“You can still use my shoulder.” He offered.

Becky laughed. “You’re cute.”

“You’re cuter.”

“Maybe I’ll nap when we get on the bus.” She pushed the blanket the stewardess had given her off her body.

“It’ll be pandemonium, babe. You’ll never get any sleep with all the excitement going on.”

Becky yawned again.

“Here,” He took her pillow and placed it on his lap. “Stretch out and try to get some sleep.”

“What are you going to do for the rest of the flight with me on your lap?” She asked.

“I’ll sleep too, ok?”

She nodded and curled herself into a reclining position the best she could, with her knees bent up on the arm of the chair.

“Okay?” Zac asked, adjusting the blanket around her knees and pulling it right up to her chin.

Becky nodded, closing her eyes.

“Sweet dreams babe.”

She nodded and drifted into a light sleep almost immediately.

Zac smiled to himself, suddenly realizing how lucky he was to have her. “I love you.” He whispered, gently stroking her blonde hair back from her face.

Isaac looked up from his laptop. Christy was seated next to him, attempting to finish the crossword in the back of a magazine she had picked up in the airport.

“Honey, what’s the name of Britney Spear’s new song?” She asked, twirling her pen in her fingers.

Uhh… I have no idea… I could maybe google it.” He suggested, leaning over her shoulder.

“Yeah, but where’s the fun in doing a crossword when you can just google the answers?” She smiled. “That’s cheating.”

“Yeah, but so is asking your incredibly hot boyfriend.” He teased, placing a hand over her knee.

“Really? Is he here?” She teased.

Isaac grinned. “Maybe I can help you with something else. Are you stuck anyplace else?”

“Umm…” She tapped the end of her pen on the magazine for a moment. “Oh, this one… star of The Matrix.”

“Keanu Reeves?” Isaac asked.

She jotted in the letters, “It fits.”

“You didn’t know that?” He teased. “We’ve seen that movie together.”

“I must have slept through it.” She smiled.
”Then we’ll have to watch it again.” He shrugged.
”Okay, I’ll let you know when I have my next bout of insomnia.” She teased, resting her head on his shoulder.

He chuckled. “Okay, I won’t make you watch it, if you don’t make me watch any chick flicks.” He extended his hand palm up.

“Deal.” She smiled, slapping him a high-five. “How long until we land?”

He glanced at his watch with a smile. “About an hour.”

“Okay… well…” She cleared her throat and lowered her voice. “How about I go to the washroom…. And you join me in about two minutes.”

He chuckled softly. “Alright.”

She kissed his cheek and disappeared quickly from sight.
