Dear Readers,
                          This is a sort of letter to self that we will be updating every month or so. You can read about us in ABOUT US but here, you can keep up with what is happening in our lives that influences our writing.
                         As you probably already know, we're two best friends from a small country town where the most exciting things to do are getting a free big mac by putting hair in your burger and taking it back, and watching your way too young friends get drunk at underage night clubs. As you can tell, we're having a bitch, but oh well, this is a good place to bitch and moan without our parents snapping at us to shut up.
                        The biggest things happening lately are probably that Bes is starting her new job tomorrow (Monday the 25th of September) we'll keep you updated on that and that there's a wild rumour flying around town that's got everyone scared shitless. Apparently a few years ago there seven dams built around the world, and one was just near where we live. Now...only one dam hasn't burst and that's ours. In all the other places the dams have burst causing like major disasters. And now they're worried about ours and if it does burst we'll be given three days notice to leave everything behind and run. That means that we'll lose basically everything and by the time we are safely in the nearest city, our houses will be ten feet underwater!
                         Right now, Bes is pretty worried about one of her close friends who has gotten herself into a bit of trouble, and, even though she probably won't read this, she would like to say something:

Dear you,
                 You know who you are so I won't say your name. You've been one of my best friends for a long time. I know we haven't spoken for ages and I blame myself for that, but it doesn't change the fact that I love you. You're so special to me, I don't want anything to happen to you. So please, please, please be careful. You're skating on thin ice and I don't want you to fall through. But whatever happens between now and forever, know that I love you and I'll always, always be there for you. So please, if you ever need anything, call me. I'll be waiting.

Bes loves the Harry Potter series. They are totally the coolest! Harry rules! If you haven't read them, read them now! The best one is "Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban but the fourth one "Harry Potter and the goblet of fire" is pretty cool too!
