These are the playlists for the shows that I've done on CKCU. I try and update this page as the show airs, letting you know what's currently playing, but it's probably best to give me a day to get it up here with artist links and everything. If you'd like to listen to me, my show broadcasts Monday mornings, 10:00 'til 11:30 AM Eastern, and can be heard in Ottawa, Canada, western Quebec and northern New York state by tuning into 93.1 FM, and it is also available worldwide via the Internet and streaming Real Audio by going to CKCU's audio page.

Current playsheets here.

If you'd like to purchase anything you've heard on the show, I've created a page with links to stores, both local and online, that may be able to help you out.

These shows aired Monday mornings, from 10:00 - 13:00.

The first two shows are missing; they were funding drive shows. Seeing how they were my first shows in a new timeslot, I was probably too nervous to keep a record. The first one began with "Shitloads of Money" by Liz Phair. I remember that.

The following shows were all done on Thursday at noon, and were one hour in length.

Thursday, October 22, 1998

I was going to start this show with "Panic", but Ryan, who was on before me, ended his show prior to the BBC news with the theme song to professional wrestler the Undertaker. Later that day I was talking to my friend who said I should play "Panic" during the funding drive (beginning the next day), but I'd probably never did that. "I played that today!" I exclaimed.

This was from back when I was doing a one hour show, Thursdays at noon. The guy that does the 1-3PM slot couldn't make it, so I got a four hour show that day. Thursday, September 17, 1998

I remember our then-program director, now station manager, Matthew saying to me after this broadcast that he thought I would be a lot noisier than I was. I guess he thought I was some sort of punk rockah.

I thought I had typed this one out back in the day, but I guess I didn't. This was my first show back on the air in Sept 1998, after an absence of more than a year. It was a one hour fill-in, either noon on Labour Day '98 or the Thursday of that same week; I'm unsure if all of these tracks were played:

Although I didn't think I was still on the air in August 1997, something I read the other day makes me think this is the last show I did for 13 months. This was a cassette that I found. For some reason I cut out all my run downs, so I have no idea what song was played and in some case no idea who the artist is. There is considerable blank space on the tape, too.

This was on 2 cassettes that I found, it's a show from back when I used to do Monday nights, 11-2. Judging by my comments at the beginning, this aired the Monday after Canada Day and Independence Day 1997. I sounded really depressed the first time I spoke, but I know why (and the way I signed off makes me think I had intended this to be my last ever broadcast). Even though the majority of the tracks were chosen for lyrical reasons, I'm still cringing that I played Eric's Trip and Cat Power twice in the same set, let alone same show, and not in a back to back manner. Ugh. Not that playing $2G at different times was any better. JSBX I'll let slide due to the rarity of the album. Helium was a non-specific song request; according to my comments on the tape, I played two songs by the band for the hell of it. The Moby into Cruise mixed well; Cruise into Dre not at all.
