The idea for this song came from Kevin Ko's drunken love of "vampire music," which is "lots of minor chords with lots of resolutions." I thought it would be funny to put two minor chords, only a half step apart, one after the other. Coincidentally, it's Kevin's favorite Reed Indeed song. I gave Merey a vocal melody to sing over the chords and she wrote the lyrics after humming it a couple of times through. Reed and Paulvin livened it up a bit when we started playing electric. It's fun stuff. The title is two sided. Originally, it was to be a bossa nova song, hence the "Bossa -". The "-wampire" comes from the idea of vampire music as well as my German exchange student's pronunciation of the letter "v." Fun stuff, eh?

This is probably one of my favorites as well... I find it really strange how this song was written so quickly. I guess that's the beauty of working with such fiiiiiiiiine people.
