Where I am

Located in Pitesti,Arges county,Romania(of course Europe)

The city where I lived it’s called Pitesti. I can say it’s a not a big city at all , but it’s a beautiful one which history started almost seven centuries ago.

This city, situated in the south of Romania, near the capital Bucharest consist of new inhabited buildings, the oldest being only few decades .But there also very old buildings like The Saint Gheorghe Church. We have a little but very beautiful park called Strand situated on the right bank of Arges river like the city .The city is also an industrial center of manufacturing.It has one of Romania’s largest auto-assembly plants called Dacia. It has also a petrochemical complex.

It’s a very restful city but you can’t consider it a typical touristic city.It’s population(1997 estimated) is almost 200.000 habitants. Others good things that my city has are a stadium for the local soccer team (it’s name: FC Arges) and a zoo where you can spend your spare time.

It has also a beautiful center when weekly there is a concert with the Romanian bands but the music is not high-quality.
