The sad thing is, that I forgot how to write those things, so I have to start all over again. I am sure, that once I start, it all will come back. The websites I wrote in the past, are about the rare congenital bonemarrow disorder Diamond Blackfan Anemia. This is a very rare disorder wich I was born with. Since there was no information at all in my native language, I decided to write a Dutch website where parents and colleagues ;) can get information about treatments etc.
In the near future I want to volunteer on a school to teach young children how to use a computer. What I really want to learn is how to build nice websites, and
maybe
build websites for non-profit projects. I am really addicted to
Graphic programs such as Gimpshop (the poormans Photoshop), Painter,
and
Expression 3 (a Vector program).
I'll be happy if I can build a website where I can put on all my
Graphic stuff,
at the moment its spread over several sites, very anoying.I
am really looking forward to the lessons.I
downloaded NVU 1.0 (an opensource website builder, based on Netscape
Composer). A small update, I now use CreaText, also an opensource editor, I discovered that NVU was putting in codes I didn't want.
I just found DEDS, a great non-profit opensource domain, which gives non-profit organisations and people who don't have commercial purposes a possibilaty for webhosting without advertising and pop-ups.
