| We happened to be in Lucerne during Carnival. We had heard that at 5am, bands and people in costume would descend upon the city for a three day party, but we didn't realize what a big deal it would be. The costumes were so elaborate, and there were over 50 marching bands throughout the small city's cobblestone streets. | ||||||||||||
