3. The Interview
The interveiw is an integeral step of the selection and evaluation of your application.  If the minimum number of points for a successful application is 50 and the maximum points you can recieve from the interview is 20 (refer to the selection criteria under Integration into Society); your preliminary questionnaire must accumulate at least 30 points.  Only in this case you really have the chance to accumulate 50 points after the interview and to be eligible for a visa.  This is why only such applications are further proceded, recieve the second questionnaire, and invited to an interview.

Usually you have 1-3 months between the reception of the invitation and the interview.  You need this time to get your documents ready.  The interview is the only step where you are finally asked to present the information and documents to prove the information you had given in your questionnaires.

The documents include - Birth Certificate, marriage certificate, diplomas, work experience booklet etc.....  All these must be officially translated and certified.
