MAGIC BARS
       1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
   1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
          1 can sweetened condensed milk
          6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
   3 1/2 ounces sweetened coconut flakes
         1 cup chopped walnuts

Spread or sprinkle each ingredient in the order listed in a 9" square pan.  Bake at 350 F for 25 to 30 minutes.  Cool thoroughly and cut into 12 squares.

VARIATIONS:
Use a 9 X 13 inch pan for thinner bars.
Try using half chocolate chips and half butterscotch chips- YUM!
Drizzle melted caramels over the top before cutting into squares.  To do this, unwrap about 15 caramels (such as Kraft), place in a small bowl with 1 tbs. water and microwave on high for 1 minute.  Stir and microwave for another 30 seconds until smooth.  Drizzle over the top of the bars using a small spoon and let cool before cutting.
