| -You are always welcome to join Ithaca College Circle K! Just come to one of our weekly meetings, Tuesdays at 8:00pm in Friends 301, or e-mail Club President Phaedra Pascoe. -To join the Ithaca College Circle K Club Reflector, just send a blank e-mail to [email protected] and you can stay updated on all of the latest events! |
| Joining Circle K |
| -All Circle K members receive a member pin, membership card, and membership handbook. -Circle K members receive a subscription to Circle K magazine, which is distributed about 5 times each year. -Circle K members are also entitled to attend all of the fun and informative District and International Conventions, Conferences, and other events! -Circle K International and Kiwanis International offer over 50 scholarships that Circle K members can apply for. -Circle K members can save 15% on copying services at Office Max. Other major retailers also offer great discounts. -Members are also covered by insurance during club activities and projects. -There are many leadership opportunities offered on the Club, District, and International levels that any member can pursue! -Members are often recognized for their dedication to service and Circle K. Awards are given out at District and International events. -There are many great resources located right on the Circle K International and New York District websites! -Circle K members may join an online Member Community through the Circle K International website. You must use your member number on your membership card to register. One useful resource is the Kiwanis Career Contacts list, where Kiwanians post job openings available in their local businesses and companies. -But, the BEST part of being a Circle K member is being able to help others while having fun and making new friends! |

| Leadership Positions |
| -If you are interested in chairing a club committee, let us know! Some committees we have formed in the past include Fundraising, Service, Social, Scrapbook, and Website. -Keep in mind that IC Circle K holds club officer elections in February each year. The positions available are: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Editor. Check out our past club leaders here! -In addition, the NY District holds elections for the NY District Executive Board in March at District Convention. The positions include: Governor, Secretary, Administrative Secretary, Treasurer, and Editor. -Last but not least, you can serve as a District committee chair! They are appointed in April every year.
