Kearney named Schering-Plough, Johnson & Johnson, Astra-Zeneca1, and Pfizer the top performing companies in the industry. Banks' 'Flight To Safety' Will Be Shortlived The spectacular collapse of LTCM and turmoil in emerging markets has resulted in banks withdrawing from high-yield, high-risk business. However, this 'flight to safety' can only be a short term solution. Catherine Morley, principal consultant at TCA Consulting explained: "Low-risk options, by definition, do not earn significant profits and banks will be forced to return to the drawing board to devise new business strategies to satisfy their shareholders." 15 December 1998
