Intermediate Technical College, Tejgaon, Dhaka, Bangladesh has changed its
name once again. Now, it is called Government Science College. This fine
institution was originally known as Technical High School. This pre-engineering
high school was built under the Commonwealth Colombo Plan to give the future
engineers a head start. The school offers excellent courses in mathematics and
sciences including some very unique courses such as Metal Works, Wood Works, and
Geometric and Technical Drawing. Over the years this has proven itself to be one of the finest schools in Bangladesh and has produced many successful graduates.
Some of its alumni residing in the United States held their first
Reunion
on July 11, 1998 in New York.
