| 1. Carlo Gambino-New York City crime boss who quietly led his family to the top of Cosa Nostra 2. Anthony "Joe Batters" Accardo-Chicago crime boss who started under Al Capone, and came back from retirement in the eighties to act as consigliere for the family. 3. Charles "Lucky" Luciano-New York City gangster who united the Sicilian and Italian mobs after the Castellamarse Wars. Luciano was the man who set up the National Commission of LCN. 4. Frank Costello-New York City boss of what was to become the Genovese family, Costello was known as the "Prime Minister" of the NYC underworld. 5. Santo Trafficante, Jr.-boss of the Tampa family who was heavily involved in the Havana casinos and possibly in the JFK assassination. 6. Carmine "Junior" Persico-Colombo family boss who has been in power since the seventies. He led the family through its civil war in the early '90's, even though he was incarcerated at the time. 7. Albert Anastasia-New York boss who started Murder Inc., the organization which resulted in the murders of over 400 men during Anastasia's reign. 14. Stefano Maggadino-Buffalo mob boss who was the first boss from outside of New York City to serve on the National Commission of Cosa Nostra. 15. John Gotti, Sr.-Possibly the most famous gangster in history, Gotti is the Gambino boss who is now serving a life sentence in Marion, Illinois for murder conspiracy and racketeering charges. 16. Joe Adonis-real name Joe Doto, he was one of the early bosses in New York who was deported in 1956 to Italy. 46. Frank "Funzi" Tieri-Genovese boss who led the family in the early seventies. 47. Frank DeCicco-Gambino underboss to John Gotti who was killed by a car bomb in the late eighties. 48. John Stanfa-Philadelphia mobster who was the boss in 1990 until his imprisonment in 1995. 49.
