Chapter Two: Jess' writing is in black and Hannah's writing is in white. Enjoy!

Light flooded into the ship and Hannah presumed Chris B was nearby with his torch, but the light was very strong and was warming her skin. She blinked and sat up, realising she was laying on top of someone, looked down excitedly but then saw it was Jess.
She struggled up and peered out of the front windows.
“Oh my God…guys! Look! It…it looks like Earth!!”
Really?!” They all got up shakily and wandered over to look out at the surrounding view.
“Oh my…is that,” Jess started. “A dinosaur?!”

“How can you see a dinosaur from way up here?!” Hannah asked, exasperated, coming over to have a look. “Ooh…actually…it DOES look a bit like a dinosaur…”
“That's AFRICA.” Chris B said, wearily, peering over Hannah's shoulder.
“Oh.” Jess blushed.
“But we've found Earth! We must have gone through a wormhole!” Chris J said.
“WOW…I never thought I'd live to see a parallel universe version of Earth.” Grant said, amazed.
“Maybe it's not. Maybe it's YOUR Earth and we're still in the parallel universe.” Said Chris B. Jess looked confused.
“Stop messing with my BRAIN!” She protested.
“Sorry.”
“I think you'd like the parallel universe, J,” Hannah said. “Because the X-Men are real there. Right, Kurt?”
“Ja.” Kurt agreed. “What, we are not 'real' in your universe?”
“Nope.” Said Hannah. “You're a comic. And a cartoon series.”
“And a very misleading film.” Jess added.
“Gott in Himmel.”
“Yeah. You're played by a gay Scotsman.” Jess added.
“As you would say…'blimey!'.” Kurt said, amazed.
“Shall we go down for a closer look?” Hannah said, taking hold of the controls and guiding the ship slowly closer to Earth.
“No, let's go to England!” Exclaimed Grant, as Hannah pushed them down towards Africa.
“Africa would be nice to see, guys.” Chris B said.
“Haven't you already been there though?!” Jess inquired, the filming of Tomb Raider 2 popping into her mind.
“Oh…yeah.” Chris remembered. “Ok…wherever.”
The ship began to swerve towards Australia.
“HANNAH!”
“Sorry.”
“Look, why don't we just go somewhere where none of us want to go? That's fair, isn't it?” Kurt said, diplomatically.
Everyone vaguely agreed.
“Ok, America it is.” Hannah turned the ship around.

Hannah - we said AMERICA! As in AMERICA, not ANTARCTICA!” Jess shouted, as they peered out the door of their spaceship at the frozen wasteland.
Sorry!” Hannah said, crossly. “I never was much good at navigating.”
“Vell, we might as well make the most of it, whilst we're here.” Kurt said, hopping out onto the ice.
“It's ok for YOU; you've got FUR!” Hannah shouted at him.
I'll keep you warm, sweetness.” Chris J said to her, hopefully.
“WAIT UP, KURT; I'M COMIN' WITH YOU!” Hannah leapt out the ship and ran for it.
“Wish I'd brought a coat.” Jess moaned, following the others out.
They trudged over the ice for a short way.
“Guys, I'm COLD! My arse is getting frostbite.” Jess moaned.
“Maybe we should turn back.” Chris B suggested.
“Yeah. We've been out here long enough…” Hannah turned around. “Ah.”
They all turned back to see a swirling cloud of mist and snow, a few penguins…and no ship.
“Oh, bugger.”
“We've lost it, haven't we?”
“I KNEW, we shouldn't have walked out here.” Jess sulked.
“What are we going to do?” Chris J moaned. “We'll die out here!”
“Hey – look over there!” Hannah pointed. “It's an igloo! Let's go shelter in it.”
“They ran over to the odd curved dome and burrowed into the entrance.
What a stroke of luck.” Grant reflected.
Chris J threw the last ice block out of the way and they all piled in.
Hannah looked around. “Bit chilly in here…you don't reckon they have any central heating, do you?”
Chris J smacked a hand to his forehead.
“Uhh…guys, I think we've got company.” Chris B said.
They all looked around to see a small family all wrapped in large fur coats huddled around a board game.
“Hey! Look! Monopoly!!” Hannah clapped and ran over. “Can I play?” She gestured to the game.
A small kid nodded and she sat down. “Ooh…Star Wars version monopoly! I'll be Jabba the Hut…”
The presumed dad of the family dished out her monopoly money and she started to play.
The others looked at each other in embarrassment at being intruders.
“Vhat shall we do?” Kurt asked.

“Join in?” Chris J suggested.
“I don't like board games.” Jess sulked. “I wonder if they've got any novels…”
HA! You've landed on Tatooine where I have 6 intergalactic hotels!” Hannah shouted suddenly. “That'll be 4,274,321 credits please!”
The small Eskimo child handed over the money, confused.
“We can't stay here. We have to get to somewhere with a phone and get home.” Chris J said. “And somewhere with a MacDonald's.” He added, his stomach rumbling.
Grant, who had been poking his head just outside the igloo entrance, suddenly came back in.
“Hey, guys,” he said. “I've got a cunning plan…”
