Chapter One: Jess' writing is in black and Hannah's writing is in white. Enjoy!

The hovercraft touched down on Phobos half an hour later and five figures came tumbling out.
“What the hell happened to Keanu?!” Hannah exclaimed sadly.
“N…nothing.” Chris hid the keys to the supposedly locked door Keanu had fallen out and tried to look inconspicuous.
Three space-ambulance men wheeled Jess's trolley down a ramp.
“How you doing down there?” Hannah asked her friend.
“Google-spliff.” Jess announced.
“She's still a bit squiffy.” Chris B observed.
“We have to get her to die krankenhouse.” Kurt reminded them.
“Yeah.” Hannah looked up at the ambulance men. “Is it far?”
“No…we'll take the monorail; we'll be there in no time.”
Hannah giggled at the mention of the monorail and pulled herself together.
“Ready for a ride on the monorail?” Hannah leant over Jess.
“Hello, mummy.” Jess grinned up at Hannah gormlessly.
“She really has busted her brain.” Chris J muttered.
“Nah, I think it's her glasses. Kurt broke them and now she can't see anything. She's blind without them.” Hannah turned from Chris to see Jess stroking Kurt's tail and cooing:
“Niiice kitty.”
“See what I mean?”
“Hmm…” Chris B answered, sounding unsure. “I'm unsure.”
The ambulance men pushed them onto the monorail.
Hannah giggled and ran around the monorail a few times before sitting down, fidgety, next to her husband.
Chris turned to look at her and smiled encouragingly. “Now we've got a few minutes, we can talk about our marriage…again!”
“Ha! Ha! Hannah laughed nervously. “I've got to go to the toilet.” She ran off.
“You're a poo!” Said Jess, crawling over and biting Chris's ankle.
“Thanks.” Chris replied.
“Ok! We're here!” The ambulance man announced. Him, his Doctor friend, the two Chrises, Kurt and Jess got off the monorail. With no waiting around, the doors shut behind them and the monorail sped off.
They all looked around for the absent Hannah who wasn't anywhere on the platform.
“Oh dear.” Chris J said, looking forlorn. “What's my mum going to say when I tell her I lost my dead wife on one of the moons of Mars…”

Hannah, who had been stuck on the monorail when the doors slammed in her face, hopped off at the next stop.
“Bugger.” Hannah looked around at the deserted station. “Oh well…I guess I could follow the tracks back to the last stop…”
Suddenly Hannah felt a tap on her knee. She looked down and screamed as she saw a small purple creature a little like a monkey, but covered in feathers and with a pair of wings tucked away on its back.
“Ooh-ooh.” The creature looked up at her innocently and Hannah started to feel marginally less scared.
“Aaw…sorry little fella…did I scare you?”
“Ooh-ooh. The creature blinked at her cutely.
“Are you a little boy or a little girl?” Hannah wondered out loud.
“Ooh-ooh.” The creature started trying to hump her leg.
“Aah. A boy.” Hannah pulled him off her leg and picked him up. “Well, you can keep me company whilst I try and find my way back…” She looked at the creature, who started nibbling at her finger. “I'll call you Toby.”

Chris Barrie, Chris Joannou, Kurt and Jess got guided to the huge hospital that was supposed to serve for the entire of Mars and its moons.
“How may I help you?” A woman who looked rather stressed behind the reception desk asked.
“Patient Jess, needs brain scans.” Announced one of the ambulance men.
“Surname?” The receptionist asked.
“Undetermined.”
“Ok…” The receptionist tapped on a keyboard. “Take her up to Level 47, Ward 32, Bed 5. There'll be a brain surgeon to check her in a minute.”
“Great.” The ambulance men went well beyond their call of duty and took them up in the lift, delivering Jess to her bed. (Well, to be honest, a nun, a blue mutant and a mad and crazy girl didn't seem capable of getting up there, and the only one that did, Chris J, was having problems detaching Jess from his left ankle). “Bye!”
Chris B, feeling very religious in the nun outfit, bowed as they left the ward, then went back to trying to rescues Kurt's tail that Jess was trying to grab.
“Hello there!” A brain surgeon walked in carrying a chart which had a picture of a brain on it. He knelt down beside Jess and pulled out a small hammer used to check for reflexes. He knocked it on the front of Jess's head.
After a few seconds, Jess replied: “Ow.”
The doctor wrote something down then hit her on the back of the head.
“OW!”
The doctor wrote one more thing down before getting up. “Ok. All good.” He smiled triumphantly.
“Is she going to be alright then?” Chris B asked, concerned.
“No idea!” The doctor replied cheerfully. “Try and get her some glasses though…” He walked out.

“Yeah, maybe that's it – she broke her glasses…maybe that made her go crazy.” Chris J suggested.
Suddenly the door flew open and a rather knocked and flustered Hannah came in.
“What happened?!” Kurt asked.
“You bastards all got off the monorail and let the doors slam in my FACE!” Hannah replied. “I've had to walk from the next stop!”
“Where was that?” Chris B asked.
“VENUS!” Hannah shouted at him.
“Oh. Oh dear.”
“YES!” Hannah composed herself. “What's going on here, then?”
“The doctor thinks that Jess needs her glasses fixed.” Chris J said.
“What? That's stupid. I know she can't see much but you can hardly blame a pair of broken glasses for her losing her mind-“
BEEEEEEEEP!
Everyone turned and stared at the machine next to Jess's bed, which was displaying an ominous horizontal line and was emitting the piercing beeping sound.
“What the-?” Hannah looked down the side of the bed to see Toby standing with a tube in one hand which he had pulled out of a machine.
