�HONEY, I�M HOME!� Hannah slammed the door of her new home and looked around expectantly for Natalie, but she was nowhere to be seen. She wandered into the living room and slumped on the sofa to watch TV. Suddenly she spotted a framed picture on top of Natalie�s dresser. It was her and Daniel on their wedding day. Hannah growled a bit and tried kicking the dresser a few times in the hope of shaking it off.
Suddenly she heard a key in the lock and leapt back from the dresser.
�Hello?� Natalie came in and hung up her coat.
�Hi!� Hannah tried to look innocent.
�Hey!� Natalie came through to the living room carrying a few shopping bags. �I bought some stuff for us to do on our first night in�� She pulled a game out of her bag. �Monopoly!�
�Woohoo!� Hannah cheered.
�But get this � not just any monopoly, but SPACE monopoly!�
�Wow. That�s so cool.�
�U-huh.� Natalie grinned. �Also got a video��
�Which one?�
��2001: A Space Odyssey�!� Natalie waved it triumphantly.
�There�s a theme going on here�� Hannah said, jokingly.
�I�ll go and put on a vegetable curry�� Natalie said, walking into the kitchen.
Hannah sat on the sofa and wondered what Jess was up to.

Jess would have delayed her arrival at Kurt�s house if she could have claimed she needed time to pack, but with no belongings, she was now stood on his doorstep.
Kurt opened the door. �Guten Tag!� He exclaimed.
�Hello.� Jess smiled nervously. �Come I�ve with you live to!�
�Pardon?� Kurt said.
�You I�ve with come live to!� Jess tried again. She coughed and cleared her throat, taking a deep breath. �I�ve come to live with you!�
�My English is not that good�� Kurt blushed.
�Mine neither.� Jess said. �I mean � obviously�it�I�� She gave up and said in a small voice. �I�m English.�
�I know.� Kurt said, slightly confused. There was a silence. �Are you going to come in?� He asked.
�Ok.�
Jess followed him just inside the door.
�Hee hee!� She hopped back out onto the doorstep.
�Vat�s wrong?� Kurt asked, coming back to the door.
�Nothing.� Jess tried to compose herself.
�Ok�� Kurt went inside again. Jess took one step inside then laughed hysterically and ran back out.
�You have issues about moving in.� Kurt concluded.
�No, no�� Jess said, quickly. �It�s just�it�s funny��
�Why?�
�I dunno�� Jess looked at her feet. �Hee hee.�
Well�would it still be funny INDOORS?� Kurt asked. �Because I�m holding the door open and it�s getting kalt [cold].�
�Oh.� Jess took a tentative step inside and Kurt hurriedly shut the door to prevent any more hopping in and out escapades by Jess.
�Eep.� She said, quietly.
�Right,� Kurt started his speech that he had been preparing all afternoon. �I hope you�ll find my house welcoming. I haven�t had much of a chance to decorate it since I moved in, but I find it homely. If, at any point during your stay, you wish to change anything � feel free-"
�Hee HEE!� Kurt looked around to see Jess laughing hysterically at the sight of his shoes on the shoe rack.
Kurt, slightly hurt, tried to continue. �Ok, the living room is straight ahead, kitchen to our left, upstairs is the bedroom where you�ll sleep-�
�HA!�
�-and there�s an en-suite bathroom and a study up there too.� Kurt finished, pleased he�d completed his small tour. He was about to go and make some tea when he noticed Jess was suspiciously quiet.
He turned around but couldn�t see her anywhere. Out of the bottom of his eye he caught sight of her laying on the floor.
�Jess! You alright?� Kurt bent down and shook her arm. It appeared she had fainted.
Kurt, exceptionally confused looked around for a cause and saw on the wall in front of her a radiator with his underwear on it. Kurt quickly scooped his clothing up, blushing crimson and commenting: �I meant to clean those up before you got here.�
