Joey
Manko has been racing since age seven. Along the way, Joey has collected two WKA
go-cart championships, became the youngest driver to race and win at Lancaster
Motorsports Park, and graduated from the prestigious Finish Line Racing School
in St. Augustine, Florida.
In 1999, his rookie year in the modified sportsman division at Lancaster
Motorsports Park, Joey won the Rookie-Of-Year points championship and finished
second in division points, at the age of 15 years old.
In 2001, Team Manko Motorsports moved to the Nascar Busch North Series. Joey did
a great job qualifying for and finishing all six races the team entered.
He is often the youngest driver in the field. "I love the competition," Joey
says, " I like competing against older, more experienced drivers. The older
drivers provide me with a great learning experience and they are all more than
willing to help."
Joey and Team Manko Motorsports have also been, and will continue to be actively
involved with local community service and charitable organizations.
